Welcome to my travel footprints! I love exploring new places and can’t wait to share my journey with you all. Feel free to ask me details (like recommendations or tips) about any of my trips. I'm always happy to help!
From 2023-08-13 to 2023-08-20. Recommendation:
My friend Owen and I spent a week in Boston, right after wrapping up my summer session at UC Berkeley. That session was something of a disaster—far too exhausting—but the trip proved a wonderfully restorative cure.
Note:
We literally watched an elderly person run past us while we were taking the subway.
From 2024-03-02 to 2024-03-10. Recommendation:
We spent a couple of days in Sydney and Melbourne respectively. In both cities, modern sophistication blends effortlessly with natural beauty. Moreover, the gelato and lobster sashimi left an unforgettable impression.
Note:
There are dead kangaroos on the road everywhere.
From 2024-05-22 to 2024-05-29. Recommendation:
We first visited Nyingchi and then Lhasa. The view in both places are breathtaking. To be honest, I have forgotten all the names and details for those mountains, lakes, and temples, except for the Potala Palace.
Note:
Please prepare oxygen bottle and medicine for high altitude. I fainted in the first day.
From 2024-10-25 to 2024-10-30. Recommendation:
Honestly, this place is about 3.5 stars, but I'm bumping it up to 4 because of the great time I had with my friends (especially George for being such a good host and driver).
Universal Horror Nights was a blast, but we totally missed the scariest house. I am not proud of that.
Note:
EVEN MORE HOMELESS THAN THOSE IN BERKELEY.
From 2024-11-23 to 2024-11-30. Recommendation:
We spent roughly 3 days in Anchorage and 4 days in Fairbanks. Some of the must-see/do:
Note:
Please keep in mind that uber is not quite convenient in Alaska, especially in Fairbanks. Please book your rides in advance.
From 2024-12-28 to 2025-01-04. Recommendation:
We spent roughly 2 days in Cairo, 1 day in Luxor, and 3 days in Hurghada. Some of the must-see/do:
Note:
Please prepare some local currency (EGP) for tipping and toilet. Most places accept (even prefer) USD as well.
